It's easy to bench someone shooting 30 percent from the field.

Really proud of Pitino on this one. Classy move in my opinion, cause that flop was filthy garbage. Make it clear your expectations of the players.

That's good but the real issue is calling the initial contact as a foul. Pretty much 99 times out of 100 when a smaller guy gets elbowed by a bigger guy rebounding they have already fouled the bigger guy with no call. The ball handler is also entitled to the space above and around the base of their body you cannot hug guys yet we see it all the time when the offensive player is set. If a guy is set standing there and you touch him its a foul especially if you body him our touch with two hands.

Yep! Where as Ulis actually caught one on a legit offensive move by the Lville guy and just kept playing until the refs stopped it because of blood.

i think the fact that it was reviewed really screwed jones big time . if i'm reffing that dude doesn't get another cry wolf call all game . (even if bobo brazil comes out of the stands and hits him with a folding chair)

If they catch you flopping the offending player should be allowed a free elbow to make up for the one you pretended to suffer through. Have it a half-court during a TV timeout.
