I just read an article on ESPN.com about Pitino's HOF induction. They recapped his whole career but did not mention SU
Wasn't he JB's assisstant for 1 or 2 years B4 he left for BU ?
They always tell the story about JB calling RP on his honeymoon and getting him to scout a kid or something
I know they are close friends and I am sure JB was at the ceremony.

Rick was here for 2 years, before leaving for BU.

Rick and Joanne had just checked into their midtown hotel after their wedding reception, when JB texted him*, asking him to go to Cincy to recruit a skinny kid named Louie Orr.

Jim was not in Springfield. He was here in DC to attend our friend Rob Ades' funeral.

*just kidding. He phoned him.
