I don't think it's strange. I would give my son a game in the Garden if he wanted one.Very strange that they would agree to play each other.
I know most coaches don’t like playing against their close friends, can’t imagine wanting to beat your son or son wanting to beat his dad.I don't think it's strange. I would give my son a game in the Garden if he wanted one.
Well, not exactly the same but JB did coach against Cornell when Jimmy played more than once.I know most coaches don’t like playing against their close friends, can’t imagine wanting to beat your son or son wanting to beat his dad.
Slick Rick is cut from a different cloth though.
My Dad seemingly took great pleasure in destroying me at the ping pong table. It felt so much sweeter when I finally beat him.I know most coaches don’t like playing against their close friends, can’t imagine wanting to beat your son or son wanting to beat his dad.

If Bret and Owen Hart could divide their family in a wrestling ring then I think the Pitino's will be fine.I know most coaches don’t like playing against their close friends, can’t imagine wanting to beat your son or son wanting to beat his dad.

Are you Ray Romano? My Dad seemingly took great pleasure in destroying me at the ping pong table. It felt so much sweeter when I finally beat him.
Absolutely! My older brother and Dad where both very competitive. Beating them was a great feeling because I knew they would never let me win. The first time I beat my brother at 1v1 he punched me in the nose and it felt great! My Dad seemingly took great pleasure in destroying me at the ping pong table.
