[QUOTE="cliftonparksufan, post: 5381774, member: 9"] Something led me to look up Larry Fitzgerald 's games vs Syracuse. 2002 was one of the worst games in the Dome's history. Rod Rutherford and Larry Fitzgerald and a boat load of Cuse fumbles led Pitt to a 48-10 lead after 3 quarters. I never knew what happened after that because we left to go to Cooperstown and had a tee time at Leatherstocking the next morning, so I probably never read the paper. So, I see Cuse scored 14 points in the fourth quarter to close the gap to 48-24. And, the last touchdown of the game, and the only one of his Syracuse career, was scored by the infamous Barry Baker. I would have lost money on that bet but I would bet that many people also left. Fitzgerald caught 6 passes that day and scored one touchdown, but the next season, and his last at Pitt, he had a much bigger day, 8 catches for 149 yards and two TD's and Pitt won by only 20.
