Wow, that article is pretty sobering if you're a Pitt fan. 15-20,000 fans a game in a 65,000 seat pro venue--looking at their 2012 schedule they may be lucky to draw that average this year. Syracuse isn't a whole lot better off for 2012 unless something changes. Half empty (or is it half full) stadiums, medicore 2011 records and a lame duck conference season. Who's got $20 million to help us out?

Honestly, I think being a perpetually underachieving program in the worst conference in America will have more to do with the bad attendance than playing in a lame duck conference.
