Pitt Predictably...

Very predictable. Pitt is not very good. We're worse.

This looks like it will be another early Pitt NCAA Tourney exit.

UNC wore Pitt down. It is amazing when you throw waves of players at a team it wears the opponent down.

Pitt also couldn't bully UNC. Pitt sucks in a half court against a man-to-man defense. Boeheim is a HOFer but his philosophy plays right into Pitt.

Pitt not even 1 good out of conference win , and a pathetically weak OOC schedule. Blown out by 19 , not a tourney team.

I wonder if Pitt will ever step their OOC schedule up. Year in, year out, it's baaaaaaaad. Outside of the ACC/B1G mandated game, their only remotely decent game was against Davidson in NYC. Maybe they should be the ones to schedule UConn.

I've heard nothing but how terrible Roy is on here. Amazingly he beat the guy that beats us.

I know, I know, the transitive property doesn't work.

Let me be angry.

And we went 0-3 against them. PATHETIC!
Easy now. Dixon bases his existence on beating Jimmy. Maybe we get in and they don't , if I looked at their schedules blindly , that would be my conclusion. Crazy as it sounds..

Of course, they are trash, and they play like North Carolina when they see us.

When we dont play anyone OOC we get snubbed, when Pitts best OOC win was Davidson and Kent State, no problem. Syracuse beats A&M, UCONN, and Bonnies and that doesn't get taken into account. If Monmouth gets in with their 230th ranked SOS, they cannot use that matrix at all for the rest of the bubble teams... A SOS of 230 and they're being considered... Makes no sense.

I doubt the committee is going to put a team in over another team that is 0-3 against them. I hate Pitt, but that would be unfair.

I don't think it's correct that no one takes into account our wins against A&M, UConn and St. B. But, how can you honestly say we belong in ahead of Pitt when they beat us on the road, at home and on a neutral court?

Those are 3 of their best wins. But , that blowout could hurt them. The NCAA doesn't do fair.

I hate to be that guy, but one those "quality wins" we're touting currently is sixth place in the American Athletic Conference.

Roy's talent accumulation, especially the big men, won the day

Why? You have to look at the resume as a whole. Pitt is 18-11 in games not vs. us and we are 19-10 in games not vs. Pitt. We won't be playing Pitt in the tourney.

It is semi-ironic that Pitt is hanging their hat on 3 wins vs. us -- but are we even a tournament team? What does that say about them?

And wasn't Duke a 5 seed in the ACC tourney?
