This was Pitt’s Sekai Taikai. No deficit was too great to overcome.

Probably the best we can play for 25-30 minutes yet this team is completely incapable of winning.

Honestly, I’m fine with all of these losses. It will make the decision to fire Red all that much easier. I don’t want the team winning 2 or 3 games and JW pointing to that as a reason to keep Red around.

Red had his shot. He failed. Time to move on and start a new chapter for Syracuse basketball.

He had a very poor second half. Lampkin didn’t show up either. McLeod was his usual awful. Davis must have been blocked 6-7 times. How are we winning with that. Davis seems totally out of it at times.

There is no defending this team. They are horrible. Good first half but reverted to the norm in the 2nd half -- non-existent defense, no offense. JJ had possible his worst game of the season. Davis not far behind. McCleod pitiful. We killed Pitt on the boards in the first half and rebounds ended up even. Autry's resume takes another hit.

Couldnt even lose by enough to win me money. now im upset and sore.

But in all honesty, this team has zero heart. Pitt is not an NIL juggernaut and outside of the first 10 minutes they looked like a tournament caliber team. This is not a talent issue on its own. The defense worked fine for the first 10 minutes and then the effort disappeared and they couldnt get it back. The team was running actual plays early and it worked. Then reverted to iso. Same story every game and its ridiculous. We aren't in week 1 anymore.

I don't care if the problem isn't actually red but the fan base needs a sacrificial lamb to stay interested and red is in the HC seat.

SU ran a lot of good stuff in-the second half that got wide open shots. They just kept missing them. Pitt was just giving us the ball for the first ten minutes of the first half.
