Pitts latest recruit

Wow, that #34 should be banned from basketball for life! He looks that one kid in every gym class who doesn't "get" basketball and thinks it's funny to throttle other kids.
But off the court he's a regular teddy bear.

Holy crap where is this school ... it wasn't only #34 but he was particularly bad ... it was several other kids on the team as well ... "Thug City?" I think the refs were afraid of him.

Football players who don't know how to play basketball are playing thug ball. The school, the principal, his coach and the parents should be ashamed and the refs should never ref another HS game again for letting that go on.

Had to be the two worst basketball teams ever assembled.

look at his shoes - looks like he is wearing combat boots

watched it twice, and there is no excuse for the clothesline (#5). #3 (swinging/chopping attempt at a block) was excessive, but I bet it is more to do with the kid being an oafish klutz than being malicious. Everything else just looked like a common foul to me. My guess is the team in Red was so upset about the clothesline (rightfully so), that they went back and clipped every hard foul and labeled them "flagrant."

If the actual game was as violent and out of control as the youtube video tries to portray, then the coach of the Red team should have berated the refs and possibly even taken his team off the court.

#34 doesn't look anything like Michael Graham, but he must be related somehow

That was ridiculous. Very sad, that #34 should have been kicked out of the game. He looked as if he was enjoying that as well which makes it even worse. What were the refs thinking? Sad, very sad officiating.

I can't believe noone stood up for this kid who got clothes lined. Kid deserved an elbow to the bridge of his nose.

Hulk smash puny human for coming in the lane.

If that kid was really a Pitt recruit, then the ref would have called a traveling violation on the guard who drove into the lane only to get crushed by that goon on flagrant foul #3.

Actually, #34 reminds me of that basketball photo of Nate Hartung [sp?]--that was hilarious!

I'd call 3,4,5 flagrant, then 1,6 borderline. #2 I don't see the problem.

looks like every HS game i have been to this year.. except in our games those would be no calls.

we had a travel that was not called that was so bad the NBA would have felt ashamed.. a couple plays later we had a TIMEout and the ref wandered over to our end of the court. it was quiet enough i could get a comment to the ref about missing the call. His comment was was that it wasn't on his side of the court so not his to call.. 2nd time this year we have seen kids start from outside the 3 pt line and finish a layup with no dribble.. the goonish type play is not making life easy on officials..

This. Nice teammates! Why none of them confronted the guy after some of those fouls is beyond me. It doesn't even look like they even said anything to him. You have to stand up for your teammates - at least a little. And yes, the refs really were poor. A good ref makes a couple of calls early in the game that keeps things like this from happening throughout. A flagrant call and a warning to the player and coach is all it takes to curtail this behavior.

the coach should be disciplined for allowing that to continue - then not only doesn't his coach pull his sorry butt out of the game but he's defending him afterward - classic enabler

My biggest issue with the video is the kid that is doing the fouling isn't in the least bit remorseful when he crushes the kid and sends him to the floor. He just walks away like he's some big stud that did his job. And that, to me, is where the coach comes in.

The coach should be fired...period. The refs should be demoted or fired. The two players need to get the shiit kicked out of them.

Being kind of an oaf myself, I am going to take a contrarian position and state #34's flagrant fouls were more derived from pure absence of athleticism than ill intent.

I think the kid is that doofus spazzy oaf type that will be the dude who crashes through a fraternity house window one day. Think Tommy Boy.
