First of all, Pitt & Louisville have experience exploiting the zone...same way Calhoun did at UConn.
Pitt bangs relentlessly and usually has strong guard play.
Louisville, rebounds (we're one and done), runs (we're hustling back all the time and that takes a toll when you're playing 7 guys), shoots (if they're on, the game can get lopsided) and presses (we have to work for everything and can become sloppy).
Virginia is simply the most fundamentally sound team in the country.  They don't beat themselves, play tough D and execute their offense.  If you see UVA put up one bad shot a game, that's a lot and it's probably because the clock is about to expire.
 
Some years we may have the players to win our way. But if we want to beat these teams  more often we have to change our style.  That's not going to happen.
