I know Joseph's dunk and Southerland's dunk were very exciting, but in my opinion the most important play of last night's game was Dion's unbelievably high difficulty high arching layup with about 5 minutes left in the 2nd half.

Providence had cut it to 6, a two possession game, and the crowd seemed as loud as it had been all night. After that play, the score never dipped below 8 and we put it away.

That and his 3-bomb that followed.

That was INDEED a great play--highlight reel, and in terms of what that score meant in terms of taking momentum back from Providence. Big, big play.

Good call and Dion seems to have not only the ability but the desire to make big shots when needed of any type.

Dion had the courage to take that three pointer. Almost GMAC-like.

Big time shot by a big time player.

Which bodes absolutely HUGE for our prospects in March.

I'll go with the charge that CJ Fair drew on Council, his fourth personal, right after Xmas fouled out.
