ND showed how to play it. attack it, beat the first block and run to the ball.. the counter is the oline needs to hold the blocks so you can run the double moves off it and we couldnt do that. even with TD getting the ball out faster it didnt work but replays showed ND was not honoring anything off the throws, surprised we didnt try any other plays off of it, we didnt try to slip it, or run the backside slant or run a TE down the slot. not that we even played TE most of the game.

0 seam routes that I noticed. Having a pass threat like Pierce and not using him to run seams only tells me we will never get stud te again. I wouldn’t come here watching them not use pierce.

Seemed like Erv really made his mark on slants and finding little pockets underneath. Havent done that at all this year. Most of Johnson's catches have been on screens and down field. Same with Riley (where he's more of a third option down field).

I don't know x's and o's enough to no why the offense is seemingly different.

their defensive line broke everything. qbs who can run give you an extra blocker somewhere lse but 2 defensive lineman that can blow you up give you extra defenders somewhere else

our only hope was dungey going bonkers running for 200 and throwing for 200

i was very impressed with ND, their pass defense is phenomenal this year, no qb has had even a decent game against them
