Shippensburg State won ten games and lost two this season and both losses were to West Chester State, 27-37 during the regular season and 6-27 in the first round of the playoffs. Former Syracuse University quarterback A. J. Long “went 3-4 for 86 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. He chipped in seven rushes for 70 yards as well”.
