Plaza 44 thoughts...

LOVE that this is finally happening. Two thoughts... 1. can we assume that the fact of the plaza NOT being near the Dome means we are getting a new stadium possibly in the future?
2. Im dissapointed with the landscaping/brickwork around the plaza. It honestly looks like someone did it without experience, and it doesn't stand out whatsoever. Maybe i'm nitpicking but it seems like it was thrown together quickly. Once again, im glad its happening and not trying to be negative about such a great thing but was slightly unhappy with the non-grandiose appearance.

Haven't seen the final appearance, but no, the location at entrance to IPF says nothing about the Dome or any new stadium. Donors wanted to recognize Jim Brown and Floyd, and to support the IPF. Coach Shafer (and probably others) thought it was better to have the current players see this history whenever they entered the IPF.

One has nothing to do with the other. Everything I hear is that no decision has been made but the lean is towards a renovation of the Dome. Also there are additional plans that involve Manley and the IPF. Whether or not that comes to fruition we will have to wait and see.

I honestly was just trying to spark a conversation about Dome reno/ new stadium using a different medium. Im aware it wouldnt really have to do with it, but it's fun to throw ideas out there.
