Don't we need offense and defense to score more than our opponents?Since 2009 we have only had 3 seasons when we have scored more points per game than our opponents. THREE!
Perhaps we should be more focused on our defense.
I don't remember those years ...If it was since 2009, wouldn’t it also be since 2005?
I can't get myself to acknowledge the little engine period. If it was since 2009, wouldn’t it also be since 2005?
Very small sample size. The Yankees scored 38 runs in three games (16, 10 and 12).The Pittsburgh Pirates won the 1960 World Series, despite being outscored 55-27.
Just win the games you should and keep everyone in front of you.
so the yankees still scored like 19 in the rest of the series that would be about 10 more then the mets right now..Very small sample size. The Yankees scored 38 runs in three games (16, 10 and 12).
I can't get myself to acknowledge the little engine period.
I mean, exactly my point. The sample size in a college football season is so small (12 or 13 games), an outlier like a blowout loss to Clemson skews the stat.Very small sample size. The Yankees scored 38 runs in three games (16, 10 and 12).
12 years is enoughI mean, exactly my point. The sample size in a college football season is so small (12 or 13 games), an outlier like a blowout loss to Clemson skews the stat.
He could have been our Pat Fitzgerald. Alas. Some interesting tidbits.
Marrone improved the scoring in each year. His record in W-L and scoring/defense was impressive given his starting point. The criticism that this was all in the Old Big East is overblown IMO because the BE Teams were better in that period and our OOC schedule certainly made up for any perceived relative weakness in the BE.
Dougie was a very good lineman and coach - probably the key to his success.
Given what we are paying Babers, I wonder how much better offer he is for having left. He would be a God if he had stayed.
