[B]Bob Diaco[/B] - Notre Dame defensive coordinator (his resume is a carbon copy of Schafer' and no prior HC experience)

[B]Scott Schafer[/B]
 
Some others:
 
[B]Kirby Smart[/B] - Alabama DC (no prior HC experience. position coach until 2007. southern guy, no northern ties/experience)
 
[B]Phil Montgomery[/B] - Baylor OC (no prior HC eperience. Was a high school OC in 2002. No northern ties.)
 
[B]Dan Mullen[/B] - comical to even suggest Mullen would be a candidate.
