Cascade Women's Division I Media Poll: Top Five Remain, Colorado Enters Top 10, More
The top five remain, as No. 1 North Carolina and No. 2 Maryland are set to clash on Saturday, Feb. 25, in College Park in a rematch of last year’s national championship with the top spot on the line.
No. 3 USC, No. 4 Florida and No. 5 Syracuse round out the top five.
No. 9 Colorado enters the top ten this week, carrying momentum from its Northwestern win to Florida, where the Buffs topped UMass and Stetson handily.
Penn and Princeton both sit in the No. 12 spot, tied with 149 Media Poll points each.
No. 14 Denver makes the jump from No. 19, as the Pioneers handed Louisville an 11-10 triple overtime decision on Saturday, Feb. 18.
No. 20 Virginia Tech enters the Media Poll for the first time this season. The Hokies earned their first ACC win since 2012, topping Boston College, 18-12.
