In the third week of the Maverik Media Poll, we have our first shake-up at the top position. Yale beat Penn State in a packed Panzer Stadium on Saturday to overtake the Nittany Lions. The Nittany Lions fall to No. 2. Syracuse passed its first big test of the season and moves up to No. 3, followed by a quickly-rising North Carolina team. Notre Dame had one of the most impressive wins of the weekend, handling Richmond, and moves up to No. 5. Virginia fell to No. 6, and Princeton—which beat the Cavs on Saturday—moved from unranked to No. 8. Elsewhere, Hobart and Villanova enter the Top 20.
