The Tar Heels stay atop the polls in Week 3, earning 21 first-place votes, while Syracuse follows at No. 2, earning six first-place nods. Northwestern and Boston College remain in the third and fourth positions, respectively, after picking up wins last week.

Maryland rounds out the top five, bumping Stony Brook into the sixth-ranked position after the Terps pulled off an exciting road-win against Florida on Saturday.

After upsetting two Top 25 teams in Week 2 and Week 3, Army made its first appearance in the polls, landing at No. 16 after a convincing 10-5 victory over Rutgers this weekend.
