After a dominant 16-5 win over Boston College last Friday, the Tar Heels earned 23 first-place votes in Week 4 of the ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Poll.

Syracuse and Northwestern followed again in the second and third spots respectively, while Stony Brook jumped two spots to fourth. Boston College dropped to the fifth slot.

Other significant jumps inside the Top 10 include No. 6 Denver jumping three spots and No. 8 James Madison jumping four after both teams beat Maryland this week. The Terps dropped six spots into the 11th-ranked position.
