For the first time this season, an ACC team is outside the Top 10[URL='https://www.insidelacrosse.com/league/DI/polls'] in the Men’s Division I Media Poll.[/URL]

Syracuse is ranked No. 11 following its one-sided loss to North Carolina. Meanwhile, the other four ACC teams are all within the top five.

Maryland, at 9-0, remains No. 1 and took care of business against Ohio State on Sunday Night Lacrosse. Notre Dame, Duke, North Carolina and Virginia follow.

Lehigh and Georgetown each bumped up.

Notre Dame has an imposing week ahead with the two teams ranked just below them on the docket. They’ll travel to Duke for Thursday Night Lacrosse, then meet North Carolina three days later, while coming off a 12-day break.

New to the poll this week are Navy, which beat Loyola, and Villanova — whose only losses are against Top 10 teams in Denver and Georgetown and have played only Big East competition.
