There’s a new No. 1 in Division I for the first time since Week 6, as No. 4 Boston College topped previously undefeated Syracuse on Thursday, 17-16.
The Orange dropped one spot into the second spot as Northwestern took over the No. 1 spot after clinching the Big Ten regular-season title with a 13-6 win over Maryland on Saturday evening.

Denver remained at No. 3 and remains as the lone unbeaten team in the Top 25, while Boston College and James Madison round out the Top 5, respectively. No. 24 Marquette made its first appearance in the Top 25 this week, with their regular-season finale against the Pioneers set for Saturday.

Hopefully we can get a top 3 seed in the NCAAs.

Assuming NW wins out, and we win the ACC, I assume we are a lock for a 2 seed in the NCAAs?

However, if we lose to BC again, could we drop out of the top 4? As a 5 seed, we might end up against a James Madison in the quarters and NW in the semis, then BC again if we can beat NW. Either way, the semis are going to be brutal, again this year.
