The Blue Devils are the new top team [URL='https://production-cms.il-internal.com/league/di/polls/2023/']in the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll for Week 8,[/URL] earning 22 of 24 first-place votes. They’ll face No. 2 Notre Dame on Saturday in South Bend. That game is  4 p.m. Saturday on ESPNU.

Virginia drops to No. 3, followed by Cornell. Maryland is No. 5 — but just by a hair over Johns Hopkins.

Army comes in at 6, and Georgetown has inched back into the Top 10 after its win against Denver.

Michigan makes its second appearance this year in the Top 20, which means every Big Ten team is ranked. Ohio State is just behind at 17.

Jacksonville dropped from No. 10 to 18 after its ASUN loss to Utah and a few near-losses prior. Yale fell out of the Top 20 following its third-straight Ivy League loss, though this one was a one-goal back-and-forth game with Penn. Delaware is in the Top 20.
