Media Poll: No. 1 Maryland, No. 6 USC Remain Undefeated

The top five remains the same in this week’s Media Poll, as No. 1 Maryland (10-0) leads the way into the final month of regular season lacrosse coming off of two dominant performances against No. 19 Northwestern, 17-4, and No. 20 Cornell, 17-9. No. 2 Florida (11-1) trails the Terps after escaping an upset-minded Temple, 10-9, and No. 3 UNC, No. 4 Syracuse and No. 5 Louisville follow to round out the ACC-heavy group.

Undefeated at 11-0, No. 6 USC moves up one spot this week. The Trojans join the reigning champion Terrapins as the lone remaining undefeated team in the Division I ranks.

No. 12 Ohio State continues its climb up from 15 last week. The Buckeyes sit at 9-1 after avoiding the upset at Michigan, 10-9.

No. 20 Cornell (8-1) enters for the first time this season

IWLCA Polls: Division I, II & III

Maryland, Adelphi, and Cortland all retained the number one spot in their respective IWLCA Divisional Coaches Polls this week by sweeping all 20 available first place votes. Each team remained undefeated on the season and will be attempting to go wire to wire as the number one teams for the entirety of the regular season. The number two teams in each poll also held their positions, as Florida, Le Moyne, and Middlebury patiently wait for their chance to take over the top spot.
