https://www.insidelacrosse.com/article/men-s-di-media-poll-umass-richmond-into-top-20-virginia-falls-five-spots/59289 The Ivy League continues to be well represented in the Men’s DI Media Poll with five teams making up the Top 10. Still it’s Maryland —the lone undefeated team in the nation— that is No. 1 with no doubts. The Terps handled Michigan, and there’s a big-time Big Ten battle of top-five teams Sunday night when Maryland hosts No. 4 Rutgers. Georgetown rises to No. 2 in the poll after beating Denver. The Hoyas are one spot above the lone team to beat them — two-loss Princeton. Rutgers follows, then Yale is into the Top 5. The Bulldogs rose three spots after beating Penn. Cornell edged out Dartmouth and is at No. 6 then the Cavaliers are down to their lowest spot of the season after their loss at Richmond. Entering the poll for the first time is UMass, which has been on a hot streak with five-straight wins. Richmond made the most noise, going from unranked to No. 17 after its takedown of Virginia. A cluster of ACC teams is in the back half of the Top 20 with Notre Dame (tied with Boston U at 13), followed by Duke and North Carolina.
