https://www.insidelacrosse.com/article/men-s-di-media-poll-welcome-to-may-madness/59501 At this point of the season, the Media Poll is fairly static — and the RPI and other metrics are the focus. But it’s still a reflection of the state of men’s DI lacrosse. That state of lacrosse for Week 12 is four Ivy League teams in the Top 10 with Brown (5), Yale (6), Cornell (8) and Princeton (tied for 9). In a twist, those aren’t even the four teams in the Ivy League Tournament, as Penn (13) locked up its spot over the weekend and Princeton is out. Cornell made the biggest leap of any team, jumping up six spots from 14. That created some minor shifts in rankings around them, but it’s the same 20 teams in a similar order. On to the conference tournaments —check out all the matchups here— and welcome to the May Madness.
