There won't be an NCAA champion in 2020, but Syracuse will be the final No. 1 in the Maverik Media Poll.
The Orange top the final voting of the poll, which will no longer run due to the season shutdown. Syracuse ended its season 5-0 and most recently had a decisive victory against Johns Hopkins. The real tough stretch of the Orange schedule was yet to be seen, as the ACC slate plus Rutgers, UAlbany and Cornell, did not get played. It is Syracuse's third week atop the poll.
The Big Red end the year No. 2, their final game a thrilling win against Penn State. The Ivy League is well represented in the final poll, with Princeton at No. 3, Yale at No. 4 and Penn also ranked.
