While there is a solid Top 5 (and the Big 3 leading the way), the biggest development in the latest KANE Women’s DI Media Poll is the rise of Michigan.
The Wolverines, the preseason No. 3 team, is up six spots to No. 12 in the Week 10 poll. Michigan upended Johns Hopkins, putting in a masterful defensive performance in the second half. The Blue Jays fell to No. 10 and have a hot Penn State up next.
Duke continues a steady rise into the Top 10 and has quietly won six-straight games.
Denver is back in the poll after taking down Stanford on Sunday, and Syracuse dropped five spots after its sixth loss — this time to Virginia Tech.
