We’re in the calm before the storm with the KANE Women’s DI Media Poll.
The top eight teams remain the same, and North Carolina, Boston College and Northwestern still hold a firm grip on things.
The ACC and Big Ten tournaments loom this week, and those will shape not only who the media perceives as the top teams heading into the NCAA Tournament, but also (and more importantly) provide opportunities for high-RPI wins and boosting NCAA résumés.
Denver is a big riser this week, moving up to No. 21. UMass inched back up into the rankings after nine-straight wins.
Check out the full KANE Women's DI Media Poll here.
