Round 2 went to North Carolina again, so the Tar Heels reign supreme in the KANE Women’s DI Media Poll.
They earned the ACC Championship victory, a thrilling game in which it turned on a full-field goal from Kate Levy and Chloe Humphrey earned MVP.
Boston College stays right behind them poised for a rematch.
Northwestern had to fight off Maryland but won the Big Ten Championship, sticking at No. 3 in the poll. Florida and Princeton fill out the Top 5, but the Terps continue their rise and strong month of play to go up to No. 6.
Clemson was a big winner with its win in the ACC Quarterfinals, moving up to No. 13 in the Media Poll. They’ll await their Selection Sunday fate.
