Boston College affirmed its place as No. 1 in the land.
Their decisive win against Northwestern reinforced their top spot in the KANE Women’s DI Media Poll for Week 2.
But North Carolina is also reaffirming that it is back. With their win against Florida and 3-0 start, the Tar Heels are up to No. 2, just ahead of the Wildcats. With Syracuse at No. 4 after a clear win vs. Maryland, it sets up a second-straight weekend with a Top 5 matchup.
No. 5 Yale won handily in a game that was a test of which team is most poised to take a big step toward championship contention.
USC is into the poll at No. 25 after its win vs. Colorado.
