Penn State entered the Top 5, Syracuse is back in the Top 10, Ohio State was the big winner, and there are two new teams featured in the KANE Men’s DI Media Poll.

A significant week caused shake-up toward the top, as two teams previously in the Top 5 —Notre Dame and Cornell— took losses.

By taking down the Irish, Ohio State gained more than anyone else, rising from 15 to 10. The Buckeyes have won seven-straight games, including Virginia and the Irish.

The new Top 5 is:

[*]Maryland, which remains undefeated and handled Delaware in College Park.
[*]Princeton, which won an in-state rivalry with Rutgers.
[*]Army, which is unbeaten at 6-0, beat Holy Cross and has Lehigh up next.
[*]Penn State, which was shorthanded personnel-wise in its wild comeback win against Cornell. The Nittany Lions only loss is to Princeton in OT.
[*]North Carolina, which easily beat Hofstra and only owns a loss to Princeton.
