I imagine that Hopkins and UVA will be underdogs in their remaining schedules. Will them losing, but playing high quality opponents (mostly Big 10 or ACC teams) the rest of the way help or hurt SUs resume?
Since RPI is the main criteria (WPx0.25 + OWPx0.50 + OOWPx0.25), it will both help and hurt. How much, we'll have to see. OOWP will help us, OWP will hurt if they lose. We just have to keep on winning.

Yeah the real season started last week. Saturday will be huge.

This, SU's fait is in it's own hands.

If they just go 2-2 over the next four your in the tourney and in pretty good shape ACC tournament pending.

Go 1-3 your in major trouble and likely need to win at least 1 game in the ACC tourney if not the tourney itself (assuming were in which would be likely unless UVA somehow won 2 conf games) to make the NCAA tourney. Still your likely alive especially if the 1 win is over Cornell or ND.

Obviously 3-1 or better and your looking at likely a top 4 seed and sitting pretty.

Go 0-4 and your not only out of the tourney you maybe out of the ACC tourney and this place will be a hot mess along with Gait's job security.

And don't forget the OWP is 50% of our RPI while the OOWP is 25%.
