ACC Atlantic is brutal...four Top 20 teams in that division. Louisville and BC are down a bit year, but decent programs. I sometimes imagine how are record the last 10 years would have been on the other side.

How about James freaking Madison in the Top 25. They have only been FBS for a couple of years.

This is their first year in FBS. Five games in, and they're in the top 25. I teach there, so I'm pretty excited about the Dukes and the Orange being in the top 25.

I wonder how much James Madison, ODU and Liberty have hurt the Hokies moving up or being as competitive as they are and why they've struggled of late? It's a talented area football wise and I understand coaching has a role in this but it seems to be an interesting coincidence,
