Positives about the 2011 season

[44PRIDE]

-No major injuries
-The beer vendors did a great job keeping the beer cold
-I just got more wall space in my office where my SU football poster was
-No more having to trek my ass to the dome at 9am to watch another Noon loss
-No more attendance threads
-Get to look forward to another off-season of us convincing ourselves this team is better than they actually are

In all seriousness, its funny to look back at what was said about this team in the preseason:

-Nassib is a stud. He has an understanding of the offense, is cool under pressure, and has a cannon of an arm.

-This is the biggest, most experience offensive line that we've had in years. It's the strength of the team. They will finally give Ryan time to throw the ball

-Our receiving corps was supposedly a first rate group. Ryan finally has a group of receivers to throw to.

-Phillip and Shamarko will be studs in our secondary. Did you see Shamarko run those hills behind Manley? He's gotta be a stud.

-Marinovich and Chandler were going to be sack machines. Hell, Chandler Jones predicted 30 sacks this year...
