Sure hope we see several creative moves & experimenting in the Spring -- not just plugging the obvious holes in the same basic scheme.
We have openings at right guard & right tackle -- but let's hope to see some competition and additional moves all along the OL. Last year, the OL was set in stone early -- looking for more competition this time.
We have talent in the ranks at QB (Kinder, Hunt, Broyld) -- be creative and get some of these guys into different schemes or roles.
Bunches of candidates at RB, FB and WR (contrast to last year when Provo, Bailey, Harris, Chew-Lemon-Sales were all clear leaders).
Sure, we have to get the DBs into the best roles, with several candidates; and try some candidates (any one of the 3 DTs) at strong side DE. Shafer has always been good with rotating DE/DTs (Torrey Ball for example) and trying DBs in roles (Wilkes for example).
But we haven't seen a lot of that on offense. Very static and predictable, even in the Spring. Hope that changes.
