Generating support and enthusiasm for a football program that hasn't been particularly successful for a long, long time is so tough.
He's been an incredible addition to the team and we're lucky to have him.

I was even more impressed with how humble not just Long but Ishmael was! They are very mature and look to praise others before themselves.

AJ is just beginning; he is a great addition to our program and is a tough competitor whose comments are more confidence-based than bragging. If you get to know him a little; you soon discover he is a great kid who loves The Cuse!

I just listened to the post-game presser. AJ was extremely well spoken and that kid definitely has some moxy. I was very impressed by his demeanor and his conviction. I hope to high heaven that this kid's talent keeps him talking to the press after games. He's a win for Syracuse.

We have been fortunate with how both Hunt and Long have presented themselves during QB transitions. Not everyone, including adult offensive coordinators, can navigate such transitions very well. Props to them both.
