Post game thoughts

You can't really fault the team for effort. Even the guys who had some issues - Kaleb, Buss, for instance - played their guts out. But at some point you just can't overcome the lack of size and depth, particularly against a team as big and deep as UNC. Honestly, I'm pretty proud of the way this team competed. We just didn't have the size to keep UNC out of the paint, didn't have the stamina to keep our performance going, didn't hit some of the shots we needed to hit in the second half, had a no name kid have the best game of his career, and certainly didn't get any favors from the officiating crew.

I didn't really expect us to win. I knew we COULD, but didn't think that we would. Carolina is a good team because they have a ton of big bodies they can just throw at the glass, and with only two real forwards healthy on the roster right now, we just didn't have any way to keep them out of the lane and off the backboards.
