We've become horrifically one dimensional on offense -- and for an entire offense predicated around three point shooting, we're starting a backcourt that has the dubious, dichotomous distinction of taking the most shots but shooting the worst % from deep. We are so unathletic, and the guys who aren't are parked on the bench. Anyone who watched that first half and believes that the right succession plan post-Boeheim is to promote someone from within the program is certifiably nuts. We need a clean break, an infusion of new ideas, and the adoption of a more contemporary style of play on BOTH ends of the floor. Nothing will change until there is a complete break, a new approach is in place, and our players are actually coached how to execute half court offensive sets. Oh, and can the new coach throw in a defensive adjustment once in awhile? And this is coming from a huge, life long Boeheim fan. You won't find anybody who is more appreciative of his accomplishments than me, but we are past time. The game has passed him by, the program has gotten stale, and it's time for him to go.
