Players leave teams where they don't see a role for themselves or they are not in the team's plans. The top 30 teams aren't necessarily losing their starters or guys penciled in for bigger minutes. They're losing projects and bench pieces and replacing them with potentially better players. Getting guys with 2 or more years of eligibility and molding them into a team has been the most effective approach it seems. The staff needs to work to retain the best. Donnie Freeman was a big win.
