Predict the USMNT starting 11 in Brazil

Ok, I'm jumping the gun but assuming the S&S will compete for a 7th consecutive time.

I hope this thread lasts through the tournament. First person to correctly identify the starting 11 (or the most starters) wins. You can change your prediction, but your LAST prediction is what controls. So if you correctly predict all 11 right now, and guess again and only get 9 right, the latter prevails. Competition ends PRIOR to the announcement of the final 23.

It's gonna look like a 4-5-1 or a 4-3-2-1 with Clint playing deep and Donovan pushing high

Jones is a better all-rounder than Stu, but I think we are a better team with Holden.

Zusi could challenge Donovan/Holden for starting, but those guys have higher upside. If the USA could upgrade in one spot in would be at LB or RB we need another good defender.

Fabian Johnson will be in the 11 in some capacity. Probably as the LB.

If Goodson is starting over Gonzalez/Besler (which will only happen if they get hurt and pull a Brek Shea)... we are in trouble.

I would like to see Chandler step up and grab the RB position. I would also like to see JK experiment with Danny Williams at RB as it is our biggest question mark

Holden/Zusi are interchangeable, go with the hot hand. if the WC was tomorrow, it'd be Zusi.

I like Jones, he's stepped up of late. Definitely have to have Williams and Cameron on call, thanks to his prowess at getting booked.

its an exciting time, nonetheless. great talent in their prime, and lots of promising talent in the 11 and beyond. it was too bad Gatt blew out his knee, i was looking forward to catching a glimpse of him

Question to those who went that way...

What do you see in Goodson over Besler?

Besler turned down trials with QPR and Birmingham...so it's not like he's not close to EPL quality.

Goodson just got dumped by his crummy Danish team.

With Omar back there, we don't really need Goodson's size
Besler is 5 years younger, better speed.
Goodson is better on set pieces and corners...but again, you'd hope Omar gets better by the cup...and frankly, Im more concerned with speed down the center against the better teams we'll be playing in the WC than scoring.
