Chelsea are stocking up on talented young guys, aged 18-23, for the most part, and it seems likely that 6 to 8 players are going to be shown the door by the end of the year.

This will lower the average wage, along with the average age, and bring together a group of hungry young players, just like other clubs (like Arsenal, Leicester a few years ago, Real Madrid, Bayern, Dortmund and Newcastle) are trying to do right now.

Build a new culture with young malleable players, who will all buy in.  Get rid of the player power among the old guys, who will stop working hard for you if they get into that mood.
