What Syracuse players should be considered for a preseason All-ACC team?
For UMd, one might consider: Mike Chanenchuk (m), Niko Amato (g), Goren Murray(d), and Mike Ehrhardt (d) as the primary choices.
UVa has LaPierre(m) back, Cockerton(a) and McWilliams(d)
Duke has Wolf (a), Dionne(a), Matheis(a), Fowler(fo), Luke Duprey(d)
UNC has Joey Sankey(a), Jimmy Bitter(a), Chad Tutton(m), Keenan (f0)
ND has Kavanaugh(a), Marlatt(m)
In the past, the end of the season All-ACC team has had just 11 players on it, without concern for positioning (last years team had 5 attack, 3 midfield, 1 LSM, 1 D, 1 G). It will be interesting to see if the ACC changes that format with 6 teams in the league.
Then their is freshman of the year -> Rambo
