From the very start it went haywire.  Hunt gets DQ'd and we need a lucky missed FG to beat Nova.  Then we roll up a thousand yards but can't score against Maryland.  Then the injuries came on like locusts.

There is pretty much nothing to take from this season.  Lucy yanked the football away from Charlie Brown in game 1 and we've been flat on our back since.

Hopefully our staff spends the next 10 months obsessed with (a) figuring out how to run a real, live, competent college offense; (b) figuring out how to keep our players out of the whirlpool and on the field; (c) figuring out how to slow the game down and make better in-game decisions; (d) figuring out how to keep increasing the talent level of the program.

All the wailing and gnashing of teeth here is kinda pointless.  Too many people are looking for a smoking gun.  Fact is, everything and everyone is to blame.  This whole season flat out sucked. Hard.

I hope our seniors enjoy their last 120 minutes of football, they've worked hard for it.

I hope everyone else spends the next 10 months figuring out how to never let this happen again.
