My cousin is now an SU fan largly by my converting him and him moving to the souther tier. He is a season ticket holder and has been since Marrone took over and has been getting tired of me trying to tell him that we will be getting better. Down 35-13 he was texting me about how he was thinking about leaving and how it's the same old team. He hung in there and saw a hell of a comeback (although we fell short) and now thinks we could win 8+ games vs thinking 6 wins max before the game.
 
He doesn't follow the team in the offseason like I do but even he had his eyes opened to the improvement of our players (despite mental mistakes) and despite the L said it was "a hell of a game". I think his next trip to the Dome will be the first where he's actually excited to see the team play again vs just hoping we can hang around and grind out a win.
 
I'm hoping the team doesn't disappoint again like they did after WVU last year.
