Our defense was so Jekyll and Hyde that year. Dominated VT in this game. I still can’t believe we won after the Corey Moore play. Was the least surprising TE throwback in our history and Beamer’s boys still couldn’t make a play. My first ever field rush at the ripe old age of 25.

That was one of the craziest games I have ever seen. Syracuse dominated VT almost the whole game but VT got a variety of crazy breaks/bad calls/big special teams plays to somehow build up a big lead.

There is no question the better team won. I think the crowd, which was amazing, played a huge role in willing the team to victory.
Great job by the players and coaches as well to overcome a lot of adversity and get a big win.

It was funny when they would pan the sidelines and you would see Vick standing there with a facial expression like, "I can't believe Al Clark is playing instead of me. I'm not going to be here long enough that burning a redshirt year will matter."
