They are still evaluating best options a bit. Optimally you'd like to do a lot of that in the spring but we have guys like Reed that were not even here yet and several others injured. I'm guessing this is pretty common with other college teams especially in this transfer portal era. So they have been evaluating and cross training which is very beneficial. We obviously want to play the best guys as there can be a drop off from the top so getting them experience at different spots is critical. Injuries are going to happen. I assume there is a scrimmage tomorrow? I bet after this weekend they decide on a starting group to get them working well together. Or maybe they just made that decision already and plan to go with it for this weekend. But its possible one or two guys are still banged up and won't be ready for a couple weeks then they may try to work a couple groupings together where just that one piece is missing from each grouping. The fact that we have two easy games to start should go along way in getting the OL ready for Purdue and beyond. I'm sure moving some guys around this much now hasn't made it easy on the offensive production in practice but taking some lumps in fall camp should help the unit overall once the season starts. It all makes sense to me.
