It sucks that we lost in the FF, and it isn't fun for any of us to be on the losing end. But if you take a deep breath, finish your 15th Moscow Mule like I just did, you can really appreciate this season. This team had a lot of damn flaws, offense, outside shooting, lacked a scorer, lacked a slasher, etc. Yet they went farther than all but 3 of Jimmy's teams.

This team played hard every ing game, never quit, and gave us fans one hell of a ride. How many of you would have thought we would make the FF after GTown pasted us 61-39 to finish up the regular season? Tack on a NCAA investigation, suspension, and MCW robe distraction (actually, typing that makes it sound like we should be in the california penal league) and it looks even better.

I know Cooney's prayer at the end sucks. Triche's charge call sucked, as did MCW's 4th foul. Maybe it's because I am pretty drunk, or the fact that I just chased down my last Mule with a flexeril -- but I'm in a pretty damn good place right now.

Really proud of this ride -- unexpected, fun to watch, and 100% effort. I'll also be checking out until Tuesday, as that's probably when I will wake up.

PS -- I also pray Cooney makes half of you phuckers eat your own next year. Bunch of bastards.

The sad part is they are also ing kids. Cooney is what, 19? When 3/4's of this board was 19, they were LARRping, then sitting on their right hand for a good 5 minutes before making love to themselves on a Friday night. if you can't enjoy this, then you're sick in the head.

This wans't an ELITE TEAM. Program yes. Team no. Not even close. This team had balls, but not a lot of elite talent.

This team couldn't consistently score. We willed ourselves into range, but everyone knew what would kill us at the end, and it did.

these kids never gave up.. thats the biggest thing that sticks out. we have had underachieving teams with more talent but this year we got as much as we could in terms of effort. I think they deserved a shot to win it all but they dismantled the east region after another great run in the bet- i didnt even yell in this one just enjoyed the moment. As frustrating as this team could be they will be another favorite of ours to remember.. the moments like cjs dunk on porter and this ff run. Thanks especially to brandon and james - remember james was a late bloomer academically but stuck it out. Brandon the winningest player ever and finally mcw for putting his stamp in the su history books even if for a short stay.

I'm so very proud of this team, including the coaches. After struggling in the BE regular season, the team found new life and became one of our most successful NCAA teams. Reaching the Final 4 is a remarkable accomplishment and worthy of great praise. The sadness of the loss doesn't eclipse the achievement. I still want JB to get another championship before he leaves and I still think this team made a heroic run to finish the year. Kudos to all of them...
