Totally agree.

Very proud of these kids that chose to accept the scholarships/walk on staus that the staff had offered them. It really feels good to see athletes (with speed, talent and desire) on the field again.

I just hope that Syracuse football can get back to the point where I think the team can win every individual game they play.

Need to get to say 5-2, or finish with no more than 4 or 5 losses first.

That said, you cannot argue the improvement under Doug.

I agree. This board is getting Syracuse.com silly. I am not satisfied with 0-2, but I am extremely happy with the jump in speed, size and improvement on the field.

Obviously, I'd like us 2-0 with a huge victory in the bag, but I'm not depressed, I'm optimistic.

I see a lot of good things about this team, I like the direction they are going...other than the 0-2 thing. Northwestern just beat a good SEC team so it gives a bit of a measuring stick along with obviously playing pretty well against a 2nd ranked team loaded with NFL talent.

If this team can get their punt return and punt defense in order and have them stop putting this team in a bad position, I think we will do quite well.
