Does the protocol differ, depending on the situation? IIRC, Kris Joseph suffered a concussion on a drive in the 10-11 season, but was only out like a week.

My only experience was my youngest. It took him 2 weeks, and they were right on with the progression as they explained it to us at diagnosis.
