PS: Adonis Ameen-Moore moved to fullback in attempt to 'find role' within crowded backfield

Pessimistic translation - He doesn't fit what the new staff wants to do.

Optimistic translation - This is a move that takes us a step towards getting all of our best talent on the field at the same time.

The "Lil Bus" has become nothing more than a goal-line specialist. I'm actually rather optomistic with this move. AAM is so damn thick that he really could be an asset as a lead-blocker. And when the situation arises, he could still be used as a short yardage specialist.

I think your question is answered in the quote at the end of the article:
Said (Coach) Smith: "He's just another kid that we're trying to find a way to get on the football field."

He should be the goal line back with Jerome Smith. I think if AAM proves he is the best option the team will use him. It stinks for him he wasn't RS'ed two years, but the kid can be an asset and for APR reasons I prefer he remain in the program and hopefully he can get a degree.

He looks considerably slimmed-down in the photo (which I assume was from the spring game?), which may be why is reportedly "playing faster".

i thought the same thing.

Nice article--concise and informative. Glad to see that Cohen has put on his big-boy pants and has written something worthwhile for a change. More like this, Mike, and dump the recruit rating BS articles. You just might turn out all right.
